As detailed in the booking conditions agreed to at the time of booking, our acceptance of your group booking is under the condition the following House Rules are adhered to throughout your stay with us.
Having booked as a stag group (or other single sex group) we respectively ask for a certain level of conduct and ask that you give due consideration to others during your stay at Hotel Sunnyside.
- You will be contacted 48 hours prior to arrival to request that your security deposit be settled over the phone in advance. This will allow a quick and easy group check-in and also allow other group members to check-in without you (as Party Leader). We cannot accept a group security deposit in person on check-in.
- If you plan to enjoy a drink before arriving at the hotel, we would ask for your kind consideration and attention during the check-in process. Your check-in is really important to ensure everyone in the group is issued with a room key and a guest card. If the group check-in procedure cannot be carried out due to group members being the worse for wear (phrased politely), we may have to delay the check-in until a later time. We are aware that you may be in Newquay to celebrate a special occasion with your friends; we just ask for a few minutes of your full attention to avoid any confusion over the weekend.
- On check-in, you will be issued with a room key and a blue guest card for EVERY guest in the group. Both items can go missing during a weekend stay, so please do stress the importance to everyone of keeping them safe. We ask all keys to be left at the front desk when leaving the hotel. Lost keys will incur a £20 charge. The blue guest cards act as a proof of residency and should be carried on you at all times during your stay. Without it, you may well end up being refused entry to the hotel. We suggest you keep the card in your wallet. Replacement cards will be charged at £1.
- Please keep noise to a sensible level throughout your stay. This is especially important after 10 pm.
- We cannot allow alcohol purchased off-site to be consumed in any public area. We pay particular attention to the hotel car park and entrance area.
- We must adopt a strict policy for charging for damage. Damage may not always be malicious, but we still have to charge for accidental breakages. Please be aware that this also applies to stained bed linen and hired towels.
- The hotel operates a non-smoking policy. Should we find evidence that a room has been smoked in a £75 charge will be applied against the security deposit.
- In the interests of guest security, we do not allow visitors to the guest rooms.
- Finally, it is important to bear in mind that in the unlikely event that a group member should be asked to leave the hotel for any reason, the group booking will be terminated and the entire group will be asked to leave with the loss of all monies paid. Please do also be conscious that we reserve the right to withhold and complete the entire security deposit in more serious circumstances.
