- A) The quickest and easiest way to book is via our secure online booking function (use the 'quick book' form found on every page of this site). You can pay by Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, and Switch/Maestro. You may also pay by credit/debit card over the telephone or by sending a cheque or postal orders. To book over the telephone, please call the booking line on 01637 873338. All cheques should be made payable to Sunnyside Hotel. We recommend that you do not send cash through the post.
- Q) How much deposit is needed to secure a booking?

Group Bookings
- Q) I'm booking on behalf of a group, however, I don't have all the names and details.
- A) At the time of booking the only personal details we require is that of the person booking the stay. We need all the names and addresses at least 2 weeks prior to arrival. At this time, you must submit a rooming list. A rooming list form will be emailed to you with your booking confirmation.
- Q) Can we pay for the rooms separately?
- A) We do not accept more than one credit/debit card transaction or one cheque per booking.
- Q) How old do you have to be to stay as part of a group?
- A) We do accept groups of 16 and 17 year olds without an accompanying adult at certain times of the year. Please contact us for more information.
- Q) What is the Security Bond?
- A) To help ensure that everyone has a fantastic stay at Hotel Sunnyside, we are required to take a form of security. The main benefit of the bond, as far as we are concerned, is that it acts as a deterrent. It poses as an effective reminder that should one individual not behave in an acceptable manner, then all of his/her party will be asked to leave along with that person with the loss of the total Security Bond.
- Q) How much is the Security Bond?
- A) The Security Bond is £50 per single room, £100 per bunk/twin/double room, and £200 per group room.
- Q) When do we pay the Security Bond?
- A) You will be required to pay your Security Bond on check-in. We only accept one credit/debit card pre-authorisation per booking. We do not accept cash or a cheque as a Security Bond. Please ensure you have one credit/debit card to cover all booked rooms. Please refer to the booking conditions for full details.
- Q) If any items are accidentally damaged in my room, will I lose my Security Bond?
- A) The Security Bond is designed to deter poor behaviour and noise. If any items are broken, you can pay for them separately. It is only in exceptional circumstances when there is clear wilful damage to hotel property that your Security Bond is in jeopardy. Rest assured, it is extremely rare that we are forced into asking people to leave and withholding the Security Bond.

- A) Please refer to section 5 of the booking conditions.
- Q) One member of the group can't go now. Can I replace that person?
- A) Should anyone drop out, you can change party members free of charge by notifying us via email. You will also need to re-submit the rooming list if applicable. If you need to cancel a room within a group booking, as all deposits are non-transferable, you will forgo that respective deposit.
- Q) Can I change the dates of my stay?
- A) Providing we have the availability, that will be fine. This amendment will incur a £10 administration fee. We will need to be notified of any changes in writing from the Party Leader's registered email account.
