Welcome to Surfing in Newquay, Cornwall.

Hotel Sunnyside are proud to now offer surf lessons and coaching through our partnership with Newquay Surfing School and current European No. 3 pro longboarder, Adam Griffiths.

With every surf session, Newquay Surf School teach the basic safety skills and provide a fun and informative learning environment for all abilities. Adam and the team strive to provide both a great time and memorable experience for each and every surfer. All instructors are qualified R.N.L.I. lifeguards and B.S.A. Surf Coaches.

Half day lessons are £30 per person and a full day (2 x half day sessions) is just £45 per person. A 10% discount applies to groups of 10 or more. All lessons are dependent on tide times, but generally start at 10 am and 2 pm. Each half day lesson provides 2.5 hours coaching.

Looking for a great value, action-packed mid-week break? Hotel Sunnyside offer a choice of 3 night (with 2 half day lessons) or 4 night (with 3 half day lessons) breaks from April-October.
