Hotel Sunnyside’s location is second to none. Overlooking Towan beach in the heart of Newquay town centre, our position provides the perfect base from which to explore the town’s beaches, shops, bars, and restaurants.

Close to both the town’s train and bus stations and with our own car park, we offer the perfect option for those looking just to relax and not worry about expensive taxi fares every day.

How to find us

If you are traveling by car, we strongly recommend you use our own directions or the AA or RAC route planner links below.

Please be aware that Google Maps (among others) and GPS road directions are incorrect. For those wishing to use GPS, ignore the right turn into Marcus Hill on Mount Wise and you will be re-directed to the correct route.

Via rail, you can travel to Newquay via Par or direct to Truro on the main line (12 miles away). To get from Truro to Hotel Sunnyside, we advise that you pre-book a taxi with us. You can also travel by coach to Newquay with National Express. For directions on foot from the train and coach stations, please click here.

Flights are available direct to Newquay Cornwall airport from various airports throughout the UK and Ireland. Newquay airport is located 5 miles away from Hotel Sunnyside.

Parking

Whilst we do have our own dedicated car park, spaces are limited and cannot be pre-booked. Unfortunately, the hotel cannot guarantee parking spaces and does not accept the provision of parking facilities as a contractual part of any booking. Alternative parking is available nearby in both residential areas and public car parks. Parking in our car park is complimentary to hotel guests.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any mini-buses or coaches in the hotel car park. It may be possible to park a mini-bus in a nearby residential street, however, all coaches will have to be parked in a nearby coach park.
