Recycling and sustainable tourism are encouraged throughout the hotel. Energy and water conservation is similarly promoted within our guest rooms. We encourage our guests to bring their own towel with them when staying with us. In addition to laundry cost savings, in a drive to more energy efficient and to reduce the amount of detergents we release into our local waters, we feel it kinder to the environment to not supply our rooms with lots of towels and bath robes as standard.
Behind the scenes in our bar, offices, restaurant, and kitchen we reuse and recycle everything we can. Our staff are passionate about our policies and everyone in the team make sure they do their bit.
We avoid the use of paper as much as possible to adopt a near paperless booking office. We send all booking confirmation via email, offer online booking and a PDF brochure, and try to avoid paper correspondence wherever possible.
Our housekeeping team use low impact chemicals and products wherever possible. We purchase our cleaning products in large containers and use refillable dispensers to reduce the amount of plastic wastage.
To support the local economy, we source as much locally produced food and drink as possible.
